Art and object

These projects are inspired by my passion for art; it’s a phase in my design journey where I let myself be guided by creativity and my love for the visual.

Tlacoa

Individual project

Tlacoa is the union of design, art and crafts that seeks to enhance the Mexican culture through the human body. Tlacoa arises from the conceptualization process of joining an artisan technique, a Mexican holiday and a palette monochrome. The ornament takes as inspiration the cardboard technique of the alebrijes, the carnival of San Martin Tilcajete in Oaxaca and the colour Green Olive 99.

Individual project

Ya basta embodies the activist spirit of Generation Z, merging design, symbolism, and social consciousness to highlight key social issues in Mexico. Emerging from a concept that unites cyberpunk fashion and protest aesthetics, the piece serves as a daily expression of resistance. Drawing inspiration from the dystopian narratives of cyberpunk and the recognizable protest bandanas used in marches, this design transforms activism into wearable art, allowing for a powerful and continuous message of social advocacy.
