About Me

I am Tania Hernández Guerra. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design and a Master’s degree in Food Design.

I was born in Mexico City . When I was 3 years old, I began to paint and engage with the arts. In my life, art and creativity have always been an essential part of me.

My favorite part of design is research and conceptualization. I believe that good research is fundamental for the creation of new design solutions that have real value in society. I also believe that designers can create conversations that foster creativity among people.

I have always had an adventurous spirit, which is why I have traveled and visited more than 30 countries throughout my life. Over the past two years, I have lived between Mexico, France, and the Netherlands to continue my professional development as a Food Designer. That is why I consider myself a designer with an intercultural and global vision, passionate about tackling new challenges and highly adaptable to change.

During my master’s studies, I was a scholar for more than a year at The Fork Organization, a global non-profit organization of people interested in food and design that aims to rethink and reframe food systems and the human diet. During my time as a volunteer, I had the opportunity to meet great minds in Food Design who are dedicated to expanding this discipline in different parts of the world.

I completed my professional internship in the Netherlands at Katja Gruijters’ Studio. This experience helped me understand the management of a design studio and work in different areas of food design, from consumer workshops to educational workshops and Food Design experiences.
