Ximbo is a holistic project that combines a family business, ancestral knowledge, and technology.

The project is designed to create a service that showcases artisan processes, allowing consumers to continue discovering hand crafted products. Through this digital platform, users can learn about the artisan techniques and gain access to these products.

Design brief

Through the conscious exchange of knowledge, how can we learn and make visible the regenerative intelligence of artisanal processes to promote the development of viable alternatives to the current crises, andat the same time identify and work on areas of opportunity that enhance comprehensive well-being of the community?

Design solution

The low appreciation of artisan work, the exaltation of hyper-consumption and productivity generates that mexicans artisans do not receive the sufficient remuneration for the work they do. Their work is so undervalued that the artisans long work journeys with a very low pay . Thats is why the design collective decided to developed a service proposal: Web page of the family and ecological values of the project.
